Connect

Connect Yada to your
AI assistant.

Yada runs a secure connector (an MCP server) that lets you plug your own AI app into your Yada account. Once connected, you can ask your assistant to browse your collections, check what's due, reorganise them, and turn things you're reading into flashcards – all written straight into Yada.

The address to connect

Wherever your AI app asks for a connector or server URL, paste this:

https://mcp.learnwithyada.com/mcp

You sign in with the email you use for Yada – the app sends you a 6-digit code, the same passwordless login as the app. Your AI app never sees a password (there isn't one), and you can disconnect at any time from inside that app.

Connect it to Claude

The quickest path, on Claude for web or desktop:

  1. 1Open Settings → Connectors in Claude.
  2. 2Choose Add custom connector.
  3. 3Name it Yada and paste the address above as the URL.
  4. 4Click Connect. A Yada sign-in page opens – enter your email and the 6-digit code we send you.
  5. 5That's it. Try asking Claude: “List my Yada collections” or “Make Yada cards from these notes.”

Using Claude Code? Add it from the terminal instead:

claude mcp add --transport http yada https://mcp.learnwithyada.com/mcp

What your assistant can do

The connection gives your AI app a focused set of abilities on your account – nothing more:

Create cards
Add cloze cards to a new or existing collection.
Browse your collections and cards
Your collections, sub-collections, and the cards inside them.
Organise cards and collections
Move cards to another collection; move or rename a sub-collection.
See your mastery spread
How your cards are spread from new to mastered – overall and per collection.
Read your stats
Reviews today, totals, streak, per-collection progress.
Pull today's session
The cards due right now, ready to review.

Which apps can connect

Any AI app that supports remote MCP connectorscan use it – the same address works for all of them. Claude (web, desktop, and mobile) is fully supported today, and more apps are adding MCP support over time. Apps that don't yet support MCP connectors won't be able to connect.

Each connector is independent: connecting Yada doesn't link it to any other tools you've connected to your AI app. Yada simply becomes one more thing your assistant can reach, at your direction.

Requirements

You're always in control: the connection only ever acts when you ask it to, only on your own account, and only while it stays connected. Remove it from your AI app at any time, or email us at founder@learnwithyada.com and we'll revoke it for you. See our Privacy Policy for how connected apps are handled.
